[   ] Have problem trees trimmed. Now that you've cleaned your gutters, you know
       which trees are dumping leaves on your roof.

[   ] Remove birds' nests from chimney flues and outdoor electrical fixtures.

[   ] Inspect exterior lighting at walkways and entrances for safety.  

[   ] Check supply of electrical fuses, breakers, candles and flashlights.

[   ] Insulate pipes in your home's crawl spaces and attic.

[   ] Check your sump pump. Some unfinished basements in wet areas have sump
        pumps installed. These pumps switch on automatically when ground water levels
        rise, eliminating basement water before it becomes a problem. If you have one,
        make sure it is in good working order before the rainy season starts.
